Race report by Magnus Vässmar
This weekend the 2nd round of the swedish SummerCup was held on the large 1/8th dirt track in Arsunda, Sweden. It's a one day event with the classes 2WD and 4WD being run. The track is hard packed dirt and the layout is pretty mixed. Some large astroturf jumps, sweepers, some hairpins and up- and downhill sections. Conditions was dry and the track being pretty rough at the end of the day.

This was my first outdoor race with the XB4 and the car worked very well overall. At the end of the 3 qualies I had went down quite alot in cst on the shock oils due to the rough condition of the track. Also the longer camberlink position on the rear helped for stability. I was able to keep good pace thru out the qualies and took the TQ in all of them with a safe gap. Car felt very safe but also with good tempo even on the more and more bumpy track.

For the finals I changed to the standard 2 dot springs all around from the progressive and it made the car more safe over the bumps. First 2 finals I got away cleanly and continued to build the lead over the 7mins long finals and thereby taking the overall win of the race. 3rd final i managed to break a camberlink after a roll so had a DNF. The last podiums places was open until the last final and it was tight on the points. Niclas Mansson took 2nd and local driver Stefan Plyhm took 3rd.
